What is Taekwondo?
Taekwondo is a systematic and scientific martial art that originated in Korea. It combines self-defense techniques, sport, exercise, meditation, and philosophy. Today, it has become a global sport that has gained an international reputation, and stands among the official games in the Olympics
Benefits of Taekwondo
The physical benefits of practicing sport Taekwondo include: improved balance, ambidexterity, flexibility, cardio-vascular health, and coordination; while beyond that, the athlete develops character and principles by which a younger student, teen, or adult can use to strengthen the positive relationships they may have with other people at school, work, and in their homes.
